Especially today when everything is streamlined and virtual, woodworkers spend countless hours on manual tasks when working without the helping hand of software. So what if there was a more efficient way to work?
The Vision
SketchList3D was created on a mission to provide a fast, accurate and simple solution for
woodworkers. The founder wanted to craft a software that would create virtual plans for cabinet, furniture, and kitchen designs. He aimed to empower users by creating a solution where you could enter dimensions and materials for the designs, that the computer would then automatically generate planning, purchasing and production reports for. So the company collaborated with Scopic, a custom software development company, to create a piece of software that would let custom woodworking businesses create unique designs – quickly and affordably.
The Solution
SketchList and Scopic not only collaborated to develop custom woodworking software, but also worked on establishing a solid online presence that would attract targeted audiences to the website. To achieve this, our marketing specialists developed a digital marketing strategy tailored to SketchList’s needs.
We achieved great results through email marketing efforts. By implementing an upselling email automation strategy, we increased SketchList’s revenue by 567%. We also created a user conversion-focused email campaign that resulted in a 300% increase in sales.
In addition to email marketing, we expanded SketchList’s social media presence from the ground up. Over a 12-month period, we grew SketchList’s social following from zero to 11,000 across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Our marketing team created a customized social media strategy that focused on boosting engagement and driving traffic to the website. We saw post likes and interactions jump from just 60 to over 1,000 with consistent posting.
Our efforts also included paid ads activities. We achieved 1,310 conversions from Google Search Ads with an impressive average conversion rate of 22.6%, which exceeds the industry average of 2.41%. We improved this further, with our highest conversion rate reaching an outstanding 44%.
To further support SketchList’s growth, we created supporting landing pages. By combining custom design with engaging content and SEO optimization, we achieved a 47% conversion rate on one landing page. A dedicated page promoting a free trial saw an even higher conversion rate of 56.5%.
SketchList saw significant growth across all channels through these combined marketing efforts, setting a foundation for continued marketing growth.
